I sent my almost unhandled two year old PRE to Vanessa at Grovewood Andalusians for Livery. Vanessa and Neil couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating, from taking her time to introduce my mare to her own herd of fillies when we turned up in the autumn, to then getting her used to stable life in deepest, darkest winter and slowly starting her handling education in the Spring.  Vanessa’s experience with young equines absolutely shone through and my girl took her handling and basic groundwork lessons totally in her stride. When the time came to move my girl closer to home, I had a confident, happy youngster with the foundations firmly established. Highly recommended.

Foaling Livery at Grovewood

I can thoroughly recommend Vanessa at the Grovewood Andalusian stud for foaling down visiting mares.  We sent our lovely four year old maiden mare there to foal because we were so happy with the large indoor foaling boxes, where every care has been taken to keep the stable fittings smooth and safe, and connected by CCTV to Vanessa’s house right next door so she can keep a close eye on progress without disturbing the mare, but only a moment away in case of any problems.  Vanessa also has a wealth of experience of foaling both her own and visiting mares.  We ended up leaving our mare and foal with Vanessa for over a year because we were so pleased with the care and environment at the stud! We have another mare foaling down at Grovewood currently.
